For online chatting, Arisia uses the IRC.

If you want to chat with us on IRC, you can use Mibbit (which is a browser based client). Please type something reasonable as your name. Click here to connect to IRC using Mibbit.

Or... If you want to use your own IRC client, the info is:

server: irc.arisia.org:6667
channel: #arisia
there is also a #congo channel specficially for registration systems issues.

Recommended chat software (supports IRC, JABBER (Google Talk), AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ...)

Web-Based IRC Client:

Pidgin info: accounts > manage account > add > protocol IRC > fill in info above. Then Add a chat > IRC connection > #arisia

You can also get a plugin for Trillian that lets you be on IRC.
